Hope?

Hope can mean a lot of things.

A milestone that we have set for ourselves that we wish to match or even surpass.
A helping hand in times of need.
Milestones that we've set for others is also considered hope.

but all in all, it revolves just around a word : wish

wishing for ourselves to attain something
wishing for someone to help
wishing for someone to achieve something

the feeling of wanting something to happen is embedded in our lives.
"I hope that the bus arrives when I reach"
"Sure hope that I can score high in this test"

But such hopes are worthless, unless you do something about it.

I guess hope, without actions to increase the chances of it happening, is just purely a state of mind that a small part of selfishness resides in.

Whatever you want, you work for it.
Praying and hoping for it to happen will never work out.
All the best in fulfilling your hopes

Stereotypical mind

I've been thinking, are we on the road that we're wanting to go? Or basically following the logical "paths" of the stereotypes of what we want to be, fame? fortune?

I believe that the only time when u are really free on your own path, is when you are still a toddler. Moving, stumbling and prodding stuff around. No one is there to guide you where to move. You are on your own.

However, as we grow up, we begin to expose ourselves to the stereotypes of the world. Wanna be rich? study more on investments, go banking, own business, become a doctor, whatever.
So basically, those who are really keen on being rich and famous would most likely follow this path.

Few have broken these stereotypes and attain what they want. Rags to riches stories are abundant in this world. Not only do they not follow the typical paths, but walked the road less travelled, and attained what they want.

So, shouldn't we break the stereotypes and travel on the path of our own?

The irony here would be that our paths are guided by our mind, and not such a bad habit, but our minds tend to look for patterns. The pattern as referred to over here would be the stereotypes that we are exposed to.

"Many people have walked the path and acquired what they longed for. Maybe I'll give it a go."

So our paths are guided by our minds, and our minds tend to look for stereotypes as role models.
In the end, paths are just stereotypes that many have walked and many have succeeded.

Beginning?

How did organisms come about?

Plants, trees, where do they come from? When did the first seed appear? More importantly, how did it appear?

Many questions and doubts are raised on the beginning of existence, the beginning of everything.

Did God made everything? If that is so, moulding clay figures and breathing life into each of them is how the way things start, where did the clay use to mould come from.
More importantly, where did God come from? Big Bang? Where is his/her real beginning?

Big bang, as said over and over by scores of scientists, seems to be the way how the universe started, too much energy in a spot and bang!
All the matter exploded all over, giving birth to the stars, the planets, the galaxies.
But did they ever stop to think for a while, the concentrated energy, where did that energy come from? Did everything begin from nothing?

Since if everything begin from nothing, I may suppose that we can replicate the occurrence and create something out of nothing?

Well, there is still no evidence to support this hypothesis. And therefore, Big Bang, is still a theory, and God's existence is still debated upon.

However, if we dwell too much about the past, we still must not forget the future.

Most people are thinking and pondering about the Real Beginning and the End of World, but in actual fact, shouldn't they be more concerned about the present?

Time? constant or relative

Time is the same to everyone, yet different to an extent.

Time is embedded within all of our daily lives.
Time to go school? Time for work? Time to have lunch?

Even without time-telling devices, our body also has a clock to tell us when to sleep, when to wake, when to eat and many others.

Ever since the discovery of time, many have dedicated their lives to finding more about this mysterious number that runs our lives.

Time is constant, yet relative.

Every second, minute, hour is constant.. no changes for the past few millenia .
Who came up with that system? Maybe Egyptians came up with it first, or maybe Mayans or even the Chinese. But they all have something in common, they spoke of the time as a constant flow, will not stop or end.

Yet to human perception, it is always relative to their surroundings, feelings. Take off the watches of 2 person, A and B. A will stay in the sun, and B will stay in the pool. Both of them will be standing for 20 minutes.
A will feel that he's been there for almost an hour, while B will think the duration is rather short.
Feelings will cloud our perception and therefore, blur out our own body clock.

The same constant flow that is ever changing to each individual.
Such irony of time will always be present, until we have lost our senses or feelings.
If time will not be different to each individual and stays the same for each of us, will we be void of feelings and senses, therefore not human?

It's quite a simple moral of this, actually.
Feelings is the way that shows we are still human.
And each person's view of the time will always keep us human.
Till the day when time stops, enjoy your days
