Doing something worth

We're always engaged in some activities or another.

Be it, playing games, doing work, studying, etc.

But does the activities that we engage ourselves in value add to our lives?
A simple activity like playing games adds to our intuition and reflexes, more complex activities like studying for some exam in the near future will also value adds what we have studied into our repertoire.

Does these activities value add into the paths we're following?

Many people have the stereotypical mindset that playing games does not add much value, and is just another time-waster. However, it definitely adds more value if we're playing in a competition rather than studying for something we will not pursue.

Within a set time frame, wouldn't doing something that value adds our life more, worth the time? This does not necessary applies fully, for we are definitely not sure what our paths will lead us to in the future, and what we may be doing now that we thought adds value to our lives, may just be well wasted.

We can only guide ourselves to that path, not control. Therefore, it's better logically to get an all round experience in as many things as possible, minimizing the impact it will cause if we failed to venture on the path we want.
But more experience in various things will therefore cause a decline in expertise of our main goal thus, you may be safe from failing the path, but you will not be a better expert in your own field.

It all boils down to no venture no gain, still it's important to think that people may also prefer safety to risk, giving them a stable foothold to fall on.

So, it is all based on your current perception of the various things you do, which adds value to your lives, rather than wasting your life away.

  2. there's no future for gaming in Malaysia because Malaysians do not appreciate competitive gaming..I am a gamer myself lol..I think it's much more appreciated in Singapore.

  3. Many people in Singapore still do not quite appreciate gaming yet.. Only a few recognized gamers and gaming clans are recognized here.

I think it will slowly be appreciated more by more people =)
